1 Week From Show: Body Fat Reduction

The final week of preparing for my 1st NPC Bikini Show was full of activities that changed daily. To keep it simple, I listed each day and what happened regarding activities or what changed regarding meals.

  • 7 days out
    • Started skin prep with body wash scrub and body lotion. This helps for the spray tan to adhere to the body.
    • Meal plan change – in addition to macros had
      • 2 gal water
      • ¼ tsp salt on 3 meals
    • Weight training
  • 6 days out
    • Intervals in the am and night 30 min on elliptical
    • Weight training
  • 5 days out
    • Intervals in the am and night 30 min on elliptical
    • Weight trainingsingle handle
  • 4 days out
    • Meal plan change
      • Carb macros increased by ~70 grams
      • 1/8 tsp salt on 3 meals
      • No more protein shakes
      • No more gram crackers or Barbra O’s
      • No more tomatoes, onion, zucchini
    • Am cardio 40 min steps and 30 min after weights on treadmill
    • Weight training
    • Went to local hair salon and had hair colored to 1 sold dark brown color.
    • Shaved body from neck down with coconut oil. This was to prep the body for the spray tan.
  • 3 days out
    • Meal plan change
      • Carb macros decreased by ~10 grams
    • Am cardio 40 min steps and 30 min after weights on treadmill
    • Weight training
  • 2 days out
    • Meal plan change
      • Carb macros decreased by ~10 grams
    • Am cardio 40 min steps and 30 min after weights on treadmill
    • Weight training
    • Went to a local nail salon and had a gel French style fingernails put on.
    • Shaved body from neck down with coconut oil to get any hairs that were not cut 2 days before.
  • 1 day out
    • Am cardio 40 min steps
    • Weight training
    • Evening traveled to North Scottsdale to Carlotti Cosmetic Surgery Center (Sponsor of the event) for NPC Felicia Romero Western Regionals check-in. The event was hosted by NPC Miles Productions.
